Does this mean it is also on the PCF website?

I noticed the mag yesterday, but I am getting 3DSMax of a mate, anyway.

You'll still need Truespace if you want to convert your .3ds files into .pof files for use in FS2.

And you may want to get 3d Exloration 1.5.3 to convert 3ds to cob so you can use them in TS, too.... or is that just me?  (offsets got nuts on turrets, etc)

Oh, well. Isn't there a way to convert straight from 3ds to pof?

I have TS2, will this do?

So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

I used to use 3dstudio max to create and texture the mesh objects then export each object from 3ds as .3ds files.

I then imported each object into Truespace 2.0 and aranged them in a hierachy.

only problems I had was the way truespace 2 names things.

It can cause a few problems with the cob -> pof conversion.

Especially with turrets.  I only ever got fighters working.
