17.5% tax?!?!  Jebbus!  And I thought our 9 1/4% state tax was horrible...(highest state sales tax in the entire US!)  If I understand it correctly, 1 dollar is roughly 1.6 pounds, right?  If so, thats pretty damn cheap for a legit copy of XP Pro.  Cheapest I've seen it in the states (retail) is $199.95 with OEM being like $145.

Yeah, I've no idea why it's so cheap - but I'm not inclined to ask questions!

And you're right, our tax system sucks... but I can't do much about that...
