I know I'm DEFINATELY getting Eve when it comes out May 6th. And I know that I'm going to be making a corporation

I'm curious if anyone is interested in also getting Eve and perhaps joining the endeavor? I've already got all the basics ironed out, and I'm starting work on a website today.

After it gets a certain size the divisions will be fully developed, I'm thinking around 30 people in size.

Divisions currently thought of:
Human Resouces(responsible for hiring other traders, making contacts, recruiting, and relations with other corporations)
Freight(responsible for carrying resources, mining resources, carrying out various trade requests, and building necessary ship components)
Escort(responsible for escorting members of the freight division, and making sure they arrive at their destination and complete their job.)
Fleet(in the event that the corporation goes to war with another corporation[very likely I hear], the fleet division will be responsible for carrying out attacks and defending major installations)

Each division will have a leader, who I will discuss the basic needs of the corporation with, and the leader will be responsible for telling the members of the division the specific needs to carry out what I said.

I haven't ironed out the EXTREME specifics yet, but I will in time... if anyone is interested(and knows they'll get Eve), please put down your name and what division you would like(and whether or not you want to be a leader of it)

Right now I'm thinking of choosing Galente as the race, seeing as they have the most ships(including 2 battleships and an industrial ship). Thats the latest update on the webpage, so I might be wrong...

Anyway, questions? comments?

I've been beta testing the game for quite some time now. And I must say its really sweet! You can pritty much change in it anything you like. Even you're characters face to the minutest detail. But still make him/her look almost real! When it comes out, I'm definitely buying it! Beta testing it has been a blast!

i just looked at the website, and sawe the "screenshots". and i don't believe those are ingame, i'm almost shure these things are renders. anyway, i still don't see any system requirements, but i doubt it'll run on my PIII 800 with TNT2 16mb

Even two years ago they were saying GeForce minimum.  I thought they were crazy...but GeForce 2's are cheap and GeForce 4's are now middle of the road type of video cards

The minimum hardware requirements will be released closer to launch. At the moment, all we can guarantee is that EVE will require a 3D accelerator card of equal or greater class than NVIDIA GeForce 256.

i've read that, but i don't know what was better, the GeForce 256, or the TNT2. anyway, i might upgrade in a year or so. and it doesn't include memory or processor specs.

They said they're ingame, but that confuses me too... they look pretty good

Yeah, but the TNT is like 20x more stable...

I had the 256 and I couldn't lauch anything without prompting an error and then crash to the desktop.

The TNT2 has NEVER crashed or given an error It kept me happy for several years.

dunno, my TNT2 gives me some nasty things as well, especially in FS2 multiplayer. not ingame, but during the chat windows it sometimes completely freaks out, kinda wierd actually. it just pastes everything ont op of eachother, and doesn't erase the old image, rather weird. apart from that, it's just freakin' slow compared to the newer stuff these days, but cash is as allways the biggest problem.....

Yeah, I'd be interested, I'm probably buying the game.... I was trying to get into the beta... but still haven't grrrr....

Oh and I'd like the fleet division  (wouldn't mind being leader too)

EDIT: Ya know this is perfect, you chose the race I wanted too (though you can have multi-racial corps I've heard)

Yeah, $12 a month i think

Any MMOG game that uses the company's servers do that, because they have to pay for bandwidth cost somehow...
