Well ladies and gents, how about this for an idea:

You are command.

How?

Simple, make a ship that's invisible and invunrible which is you, have with the mission a custom HUD configuration which is the default FS2 with all displays but the main flight controler, speed, and communications disabled.

Now you can add in ships, which of course they all have their standard orders which you can give, with custom messages added in so that they have more feedback.

Of course you can also have different ships you deploy with different objectives. (this can be done via the "reinforcements" menu which can be renamed into "Deploy Assets" via a table file)

Why Vasudan Tactical Command? Well because not much has been done with the Vasudans and their tactics...

idea...but there's a few flaws.  To make it truly worthwhile you'd have to vastly improve the AI and give a whole lot more command options.

Yes, it's very good - and theres loads of kick-***  mods out there for it as well. Think of it this way, if you've ever wanted to command a FS2 fleet, or a Star Wars fleet... or a Star Trek fleet... or a Babylon5 fleet... or many other popular Sci-fi show fleets... you can in this game. And whats more, it all flows really well. Trust me, if you want 3D RTS then this game is what you want to buy.

Scandalous! My friend scratched my Allied Red Alert One CD, and it kept quitting right in the middle of the cool Tanya escaping scene.

Mine's better. I lent my Starcraft CD to my friend to install and he somoehow managed to break it into pieces inside his 56X CD-ROM drive. He managed to salvage his CD-ROM drive though but not my CD. SOB.
