ow that's very laughable

sounds like a child who is angry coz another one didn't lend him a toy

btw, do they think it'll have an impact or anything? for once, most french don't know the english name for "french" fries ( for those who do talk enough english, well, they've learned it was called fries, not french fries, I know about that "french" part thanks to the net

). Finally, afaik, french didn't make the first fries ( maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it ), so it was just... well, nice to call 'em htat way

boy am i glad that we call em "pommes frittes"
yeah, in france, it's "pommes frites", well, if you're from on of the oldest generations. pommes stands for "pommes de terre" indeed ( des "patates"

). But now, about everybody just calls them "frites", which is quite wrong on a gramatical level and must make academicians crazy

that was very exciting isn't it? next time I'll talk to you about beans
