I've just been playing MechWarrior 4, and I want to know, what's everyone's favourite 'mech? From any of the 'mech games.

Mine has to be the MadCat MkII, as it has so many Omni weapon banks that you can fill it with nothing but machine gun arrays, and try to take down an Atlas!

definition of insanity: a assault 'mech armed with two heavy gauss going up against a small lance of cougars or other light mechs.. been play mechwarrior 4 mercs

Any mech game produced by MS is utter ****e as far as mechs go. I'll admit it, I'm a mega purist as far as that goes . I must say, the dashi is a good mech, but it is hard to pick one mech...as a lance of lighter mechs has no problems overcoming a dashi with little damage. (hell...I took down an atlas in a 50 ton superfast hovertank with a PPC...)

My favorite mech would probably have to be my nova cat.  3 ERPPC's, 2 ERLarge lasers, and a MED X-pulse fo small targets.
