Anyway, what's the plotline going to be for HW2? Will it follow on from Cataclysm? or not?

I think it's something like 100 years after Cataclysm/Homeworld.  The Hiigarans are still going thru lots of turmoil, and then some baddies show up from deep space wielding the power of the "ancients". Check out HW2 shipyards for more info and some screenshots of the new ships.

Perhaps they consider it not respectful to dismantle it to salvagable parts? Didn't they use it as a shipyard in Cataclysm anyway? I guess it still works 100 years later.

I've just been browsing the shipyards (thanks, UT) and this game will ROCK!

BTW, a new feature is the ability to add custom decals to your ships.
