Since we both are using the Angel, i was wondering in what timeframe you guys are using it, because i consider your campaign a prequel to FS1 i'd like to be consistent with your timeline & shipspecs ;)

We don't have a clue as to when the fighter was commissioned, but it was decomissioned shortly before the Great War. Perhaps the ship was constructed in something like 2330.

'Course Eishtmo is going to be here in a few mins to either tell me why my post is bull****, or why you shouldn't use the Angel.

In short, we haven't done much with the Angel as of now. We probably won't be bothering with it for a LOOONNG time.

Do any of you have pictures of the Angel Scout? I'd like to see what it looks like...

check around this forum...we might have something...

It's almost like the Valkyrie. One less set of engines..no primaries on the nose, and a conical nose instead of a flat one.

I think that it works best for the TVWP if the Angel is developed in Chapter 3.  However, I'm not sure what a proper date would be, since we haven't written the Chapter 3 story yet.

That sounds good guys.  I like the attention to detail on the Angel scout matter.  I know someone tried to do a Angel scout some time back and had no idea that it was what the Valk was based on...excellent...keep it up!

Looked all over this forum and your website to no effect. Couldn't find the Angel. No problem though, that Mustang Alpha is a neat lookin' little ship.

2330? That only gives it 5 years of use. And they referred to it as the old angel scout fighter.

Give er' more credit at least. Hell, the Herc was around for 32 years and its still not retired.

Well, i'd love to Knight Templar, but i know zilch about these things ;)

But while it could've been build in 2320 or 2310, it would most likely still be in service in 2330 then :)

you're right KT. Amon Re, got any objections to 2325? Four years after the war started.

2325? Sure, that'll do fine to, but you do know that'll mean i gotta design enough missions to fill them years up till the end of FS1 ;)

Speaking of the Angel Scout, for the moment i'm restricting it to the ML-16 laser, basicly because i don't know what other weaponry might be in use at that time, so suggestions would be welcome.

Also, i was thinking of restricting the ship's speed aswell, basicly this is a 2 engine powered craft, while the Valk is a 4 engine powered one, so i was thinking of giving it 2/3's of the Valk's speed.
