3d shots in this engine looks dumb with 3d charas walking side to side and up and down only.

Main chara? Well, I'm thinking of doing something like in FF6 where the group splits up and there are different stories to tell and eventually they come together. After that I'm just going to try and give everyone some attention.

Story writing can be pretty lengthy...
