Thanks to Eth for not only handling the sub-systems and adding the shields...but he went out on his own to change some textures giving Dunbar a really nice set for the shield generators and docking points! Great work Eth!

The shielded station was more concept than "dude wouldn't this be cool???"

Dunbar is a civillian trading port that has since been designated a "pro" military supply depot to assist reconstruction efforts after the second Shivan invasion. Due to the fact that most monetary supplement and new projects have to be used to rebuild tyhe GTVA fleet and the relocation of several million civillians, it was decided arming the entire station effectively to be totally non-cost effective. Since the station would need some form of defense, shield generators were installed and mulitple automated cannons implaced around the station as well as a small strike force of 3 squadrons, several small corvettes and a lone Demios cruiser.
