it has come to this, as I have little else to discuss.

Was anyone here ever in the Beavers/Cubs/Scouts/?

Of course they are probably different names for the differrent tiers outside of Britain, but you get the idea.

I used to be the Cubs and then the Scouts for about a year, until I realised that it was crap (at least where I went).

I ask because I wish to know what colour necker you had, as I am convinced that my group's was the best. (red and black)

I was in the Boy Scouts. God, it was horrible. And the whatchamacallit before it, which was slightly better in that you only had to worry about the scoutmaster raping you, as opposed to the members of other troops.

I've been a beaver, cub, scout and venture scout.

Achieving Chief Scout award no less (highest badge a scout can hold). Also became a senior patrol leader which as far as my fellow scouts were concerned made me God.

I had a cushy life that said I've leaft now - it lost my interest. It wasn't a bad time since we had girls in our troop (yes, you read right. And yes, a couple were hot).

I used to be.  Cub Scouts was fun, all I did was come to the meetings and get cool badges.  Then I got to boy scouts, where I was ordered around by some "Junior Leader" guy.  Almost all of the other scouts mindlessly obeyed his orders, and I quit.  Scouts is bad
