I just got a new CD burner and I was in the proces of instaling it when I realised that I already have
a)flopp drive (not sure what it's hooked up to)
c)hard drive (primary master, boot)
d)hard drive (primary slave)
e)partition of c
f)zip drive(secondary slave)
g)dvd rom(secondary master)
now
I have no IDE slots open for the new drive, but the primary IDE cable has three slots on it (seemed odd to me as I thought only two could be on one IDE; master/slave), wich makes me think that there is some way to get three drives on one IDE cable. so is there any way short of a SCSI to get my new drive into my system without sacraficeing an existing drive
I am going to see what is up with the flopy maybe I can do something there
