I've known about French Canadians since time immemorial!

Is it just me or is Canadian French just a more miserably-spoken version of normal french.

no, it's just a different french ( different words, and a quite funny accent - well, for a french ). not by any means poorer or simpler...

I see, it must be the accent, as from the little Canadian Frnech i've heard, the speaker seemed really depressed, and spoke like Kevin from Harry Enfield.
