Why are textures an indangerd spicies on HLP?
One never can find one when one is in need?

btw texturers are a rare specie not only on hlp:)
probably the best thing you can do is to unwrap your model and then ask for people to texture it: if the model is good and interesting you may have more chances to find someone to draw maps
or just try to do it on your own (there are many tutorials out there, starting from those on xwaupgrade)

Why?  Because to do a good texturing job takes days.  My just-completed GVB Maahes (:thepimp: ) took so many hours of work I would have lost track sometime last week even if I had be counting to begin with.

KARMA is right. Provide your model pre-uv mapped with template textures. You'll increase your chances one million percent.

Urm..... I CAN map it using Lithium Unwrap, but I'm not satisfied with the texture I made so far....
I could postthe texture, and if someone is willing to polish it up, please do....
And I have 4 more models with the most basic of textures....
All fighters/bombers...

I'll see what can be done about it...Can't wait to return home:D

Man, you are lucky! I can't make head or tails of Litithunwarp, even following the guide I found somewhere in Karajoma's FS2 guide was't that helpful.  The screenies didn't match what I had:confused:

[color=66ff00]I do it rarely because I find that it's a helluva lot of trouble, almost more work than it's worth. If you have a copy of 3DSmax or GMAX get the plugin chilliskinner and the guides to go with it, really is the bee's knees for doing single, planar mapping well.

Pity max in any incarnation isn't half as friendly as Rhino, I could crank out models at a far faster rate.
