 Has anyone made a modern version of the Anubis skin?  well anything better than the original or the terran one hosted at Vwatch?? i need it for my vasudan campaign

Why reskin it? Why even keep it? The anubis was designed to be pathetically easy to kill, only used because they were cheap. Once the Great war and TV war were over, the Vasudan economy recovered enough that they could begin affording better craft, and the anubis would have been decommissioned immediately. Use a Seth, Horus or Thoth if you want an old craft, or a serapis if you want a space superiority. If you're dead set on an anubis, however, Dark converted all the old FS models, which can be found at the VWatch Archives.

Bah, a single Apollo could handle an entire squad of Anubis class fighters.

So how did the Vasudans do so well in the war? Because of the battle tactic terrans dare not comprehend:

I have a terran reskin of the Anubis.  Tables data for it makes it more of a match now though.  Fast, afterburners, little more hull and a little more shielding.  Larger secondary as well.

But like they said.  It is a piece of junk.

Herc vs. Myrmidon, Anubis vs. Tauret..those battles are always fun because they put you at a disadvantage.
Speaking of disadvantage, has anyone converted the FS1 primary weapons yet? I need them for a mission.

A single Apollo can take on anything if the pilot is right...  

Ummm, Anubis skin? Erm, I'm not too good with skins...

 The PVF-Anubis was made in MASS Production...  by the end of the great war, most Anubis fighters saw less front line action as the newer Thoth and more advanced Horus and Seth took over.  However in the short lived V-Civil war, both the VPH and the GVA had more of these than any other fighter.  They served the roles of scout and light skirmisher, which was really all the war was.   Near the end of the war, the GVF-Anubis Advanced was commissioned to fill the Space Superioty fighter roles that the limited Thoth had filled.  Although not quite as advanced as a thoth, it did shine in the early GVA.  It had an afterburner, more powerful shields, and could mount the Storm cannon and the Cobra missile.  Many of the existing Anubis were then retrofitted to this newer specification.  
 
 Because i wanna slightly distinguish the two ships from each other, other than the shield effects.  I need a new skin, anyone made one yet?

hehe, I made a similar one for the GVB Amun Mark II used in my campaign:

 

The Amun Mark II is a new class of assault bomber that is still in its early testing stages. The Mark II is an upgraded version of the old Amun-class spacecraft, which was used extensively by PVN forces in the Terran-Vasudan war. This bomber has abysmal manuverability and a top speed of 25 m/s, making it the most sluggish bomber in the GTVA arsenal. However, it more than makes up for these shortcomings with its six primary weapon mounts, an enormous secondary missile/bomb capacity that surpasses that of every other GTVA bomber in service and two high-power flak turrets (a first for bombers). During its operational evaluation (OpEval) period, only select elite and CEU squadrons in the Vasudan navy have been given access to this ship.

Regarding the Anubis skin though, I remember seeing a modified somewhere, maybe the Quarantine mod or the Pandora's Box campaign; can't remember...

It's good fun hitting an Anubis with the Flail and watching it spin. Although it usally spins so its guns point at me.
