My housemates and I have had a most productive day. We sat outside our house drinking Special Brew before flagging down an icecream van, then proceeded to chop down a large bush and set fire to the remains. Here be the videos of the conflagaration:

Fire the first
Fire the second
Fire the third

Beware, there are rude words in there... mainly as a result of people getting burned :) The cast includes Big Gay Mike (the hairy topless dude on the left), Spuff (the dude on the right) and my good self (the dude in the blue with the can of kerosine).

Lastly, here's a bonus feature - our friend Matt's Mini

We am win!

I can only see the pic with Mr Tonys but Fire 1, 2, 3 and Mini links seem to be busted.

Reminds me of when a mate set his arms on fire trying to do a similar thing.
Except he set himself on fire intentionally.

He is.

He wrapped in arms in foil or cling film (I wasn't there at the time so i dont know), doused them in lighter fuel and set light to them!

He was out of school for a month!

You drink Special Brew. I know you're a student but c'mon, you might as well drink Meths because to be fairly honest it has the same effect, is slightly cheaper and tastes a damn sight better than bloody Special Brew.

Special Brew for anyone requiring clarification is extra strength lager and is akin to drinking a sulphuric acid and **** combination with pretty much the same effects.

Make some thermite. I might make some thermite actually. I know some people who I don't like who happen to like the engine blocks on their cars very much.

That's a good thing.

What's the recipe for thermite, again? I'm resorting to buying the stuff, I haven't taken chemistry in years and my skill at chemical flashbombs is limited to the gasoline and gunpowder types.

Ah guys... I didn't think I'd ever have to mention it as a fubar topic but this is not a militia forum in the generic sense of the word. If you want to talk about the specifics of making bombs then do it in your own time please.... I don't think it's a good idea to discuss it over the net and lets face it, any of you who are really interested can find something about it by searching Google...

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Here's the inside work, clockwise from the top left:

1) Rolling plastic explosives into balls to be stuffed into...
2) ...the centers of the old AT mines we nailed to the walls.
3) Taking down the antenna
4) Da Brute Squad
