Because despite building the Bible up to be the be-all and end-all of rights and wrongs, they defy its teachings when it suits their wallet. If the gays can bring money to the Church, well hell, they can't be all that bad. I mean, it's only GOD who's said they should die. Why should a little thing like that get in the way of money?
