Hmm...

Try bottle rockets next time. Or water balloons, depending on how cold it gets out there.:D

do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

Ah, those things are overrated. Except the aerosol-hairspray-can-and-lighter kind, which are only cool by association.

Besides, the homemade variety tend to explode a lot, and no homemade weapon that does as much damage to the victimizer as the victim is any good. Except the coilgun- we loves you, yesssss...

Well, it's only half-finished. Like I said, there isn't a ****ing non-magnetizable piece of aluminum piping in the friggin' tristate area, and it'd be pretty useless without a barrel to wrap the electromagnets around.

Exactly. Shipping costs would amount to more than I've paid for the entire rest of it. Granted, I scavenged a good bit, but hey.

Incidentially, does anyone know if magnetrons have any parts that overheat and break easily? I can't recall...

You sound like that Python sketch,
"I follow the moth in the helicopter, and then Hank comes along in the Lockheed Starfighter and attacks it with air-to-air missiles."

And so on.

Depends on the size of the moth. Might need anywhere from a flyswatter to a SCUD missile.

Actually, scratch that. A SCUD couldn't hit the broad side of the sky.

True, very true, you'd have to fit it in a catapult, and fire it thus.

Elongated objects don't get launched properly. Maybe if you stacked it with milk jugs turned Molotovs (probably pretty hard to do), and launched those... get a cool shotgun effect, and moths are pretty flammable, so...
