what's insane is to use that for a crappy glider sim... dunno, this thing would rule with the latest flight simulator, or flanker 2.0!

The article I read about that setup stated that he was playing MS-FlightSim200x, not merely a glider specific sim. Thus, I'm baffled. Next to the cost of that rig, some real gear would have been cheap.

BTW, except for that stick being a Logitech (you can have my Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!!:D), with all of it's bad quality control, the stick itself isn't half bad.

But to waste all that on a crappy GLIDER sim?! Give me a break, IL-2 Sturmovik, baby!

Oh! Then you'd understand how hard it is to write with a single hand, for I'm "suffering" from the same problem.
BTW: Yes Saitek sticks are amaizingly good in terms of ergonomy.

BTW, I think ALL Logitech stick's rudder breaks within 2 months, and then the throttle starts to go after 3. Happened to me.
