That thing beats my MSI KT3 Ultra 2, hands down. Just take a look at those features....

Do nVidia have an nForce chipset planned for Athlon 64? If I only have AMD or Via to pick from I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole, I'll go for Opteron or whatever Intel have planned.

That is an nVidia chipset :p
The K8 Crush chipset is actually what the nForce 3 Pro is based off of.

OK, here I go again:

Opteron (Sledghammer) = Workstation/Server Chip, 1MB L2, DC DDR333 (ECC Required), 940 pins
Athlon 64 (Clawhammer) = High-End Desktop Chip, 1MB L2, DDR400 (possibly DC, but this has not yet been confirmed, AFAIK), 939/940 pins
Athlon 64 (Paris) = Mid-range Chip, 512KB L2, DDR400 (no DC), 754 Pins

DDR-II support will start with the 90nm range of chips (Athens, San Diego, and Victoria).
Also, for now, it appears, low-end chips will be the Athlon FX chips, which are Athlon XPs with the Barton core, but with 50% of the L2 cache disabled.
