Now I've Photoshop 6, (and I've already 3dsmax4) so I would like to know where I can find a rendering tutorial...

Thanks

Just do tutorials in general. They'll show you how to do something and set-up a nice looking scene. Then just keep it in mind, when you're doing your own stuff.

Try 3dcafe.com

EDIT: Don't forget the tutorials that came with MAX.

I'm working through the MAX tutorials, which seem to be pretty good so far; hopefully I will eventually be able to create something better than a few spheres and cubes.

Are you talking about the tutorial for Blender?  If so, please give me a link.

HOW did you get 'Blender' from 'MAX'?

The ultimate tool for development is experience. Just try things out, fool around with it, and use hte help if you dont understand a certain aspect of it. You'll have more experience then going through a very limitating tutorial.

Max Sterling wrote the Blender tutorial at VWatch.

I prefer Blender over Max at the monet though, albeit only for modelling.  Because I know how to use it.
