[color=66ff00]I myself already have passed on my kudos to Venom for what can only be described as a rather bloody fantastic gift; the models for FSUpgrade.

If you guys want to see those models in action then your best bet is to help us out with the project. The project is designed to be open ended, once we get the intro done (10 odd missions) those models will be available for all to use in creating more content for FSUpgrade. It's not OTT, nothing can replace Venom's unique vision, but it's going to be influenced by OTT and hopefully will stand as a monument to the hard work that he, and others have done for the community.

Ever think about teaching people to model?  That way we can increase the amount of quality modellers here.

and as far as it goes, i hope that some of you feel as guilty as you should.  after being too busy to help and allowing OTT to die, you swoop in and beg models from the guy.  Maybe if some people had been willing to help we would have gotten the models and he would have finished his project.

Seriously though, I think we should just help out with the fsupgrade project so we can get the models, it's obvious Venom isn't going to release them to us.

He never said he gave up. He said he was unable to complete of his work because he doesn't have the help he needs. That's not giving up, that's just dissapointing.

yeah, the shivan. the shivan mesh is done, but I dunno what to make with it. turning it into a pof would be stupid ( yeah! flying statue! ). My original plan was to first make the mesh, then alterate it to make shivan corpses ( and why not adding a few as debris for capships ).
misc ships: yeah, when I feel like it ( and guess what? right now I don't feel like it, I feel like: the more you ask, the less you'll have ).
