I am in need of a few people willing to help out with a Star Trek mod for Freespace II. The people I need are: 1 or 2 people to make new models, someone to make textures, someone to make weapons, and someone to make campaigns.  If you think you could help me out with this, you can contact me via E-mail at [email protected] or ICQ at 142168362.

Thanks!

Seeking Talent...

Aren't we all!

If it was anything but Star Trek, I could probably help. I'm not much good for building those sorts of ships  . Now, if you wanted a Vasudan Juggernaut or maybe a some odd shaped fighter designs, I can deliver.

There is one odd shaped Federation Fighter I know of. The Perigrine Attack Fighter. I'll post some pics of it.

That actually LOOKS like a Freespace or Descent craft. *heh*

There are a few others that don't stick to the traditional 'Trek' look. Do you think you could do this ship for me?

I'd need a some other photos (design drawings would be better) and time. I can put this on my stack of work though. It would just be a mesh, though. I don't do any modding for Freespace, just the meshes. You'll have to have someone else texture it and get it into Freespace.

Here's the original design (not seen on show):

And here'a pretty cool Maquis ship (60-80m long):

That top pic in your second post looks like a Vesuvius.

Status update!

I now have a person to do most of the weapons for the mod. All positions are still open though, so if you think you could make a contribution, please do so!

I still can't figure out why the phasers aren't working...They worked when I was playtesting them...Did you put them in the player-usable part of the TBLs?

I could have sworn I did. Though, the ones on the Galaxy don't work either. They turned out to be anti-fighter beams from Freespace.
