CLubs: Okay, for a general kinda place I'd go to the Garage on Sauchihall street. Not too good, not too bad. (Same rule for the girls there)
The Shack, 193 Pitt Street - now, in my humble opinion its got the largest female to male ratio in Glasgow clubs and its a damned nice club inside. Nothing hardcore here, just good music and good women. Drinks can, and will be expensive depending on what you drink.
Cathouse, Union street - Never been, but if you're into alternative, nu-metal, punk etc then this place is for you. Always heard great things about it. Garunteed a good time if you're in with the music.
Cube - Don't know **** about this place but its mentioned a lot in conversations I've had about clubs. Seems kosher, and its even got a separate Bar if the club gets too much for you.
Babazaa - Rn'B - in Royal Exchange Square, off Buchanan street. Like I said, Rn'B, nice smooth atmosphere (or so I'm told) and often promos going on.
Archaos
WARNING! danger Will Robinson - this thing is ****ing Ned heaven. Do not approach unless tooled up with a chib, body armour and an evac plan. To make matters worse, unders get in all too often and I've known guys to end up dancing with freaking jail bait.
Jumpin' Jacks - New, very. Only "club" I know that has karaoke (well, with more energy than normal). Very classy, and popular as far as I can tell.
I've probably missed out several but I'm tired. My personal recommendation is The Shack, HOWEVER: If you have a mate in Glasgow at uni (not Glasgow Uni itself tho 'cos they ain't NUS), get them to sign you in to "The Union" - its Strathclyde's union and its brilliant. (Yes, I conceed - better than Caley's

)
Thats all folks.
EDIT: If aldo and you Shrike fancied it we could try and rival Sandwich, GE & Su-'s meeting up
