I was thinking (watch out everyone!), why does it seem that the 'new game' forums are mean while 'old game' forums (like HLP) are friendlier? I think it may be because no one is going out to get FS2 like they would for FreeLancer or something .

Well, after VBB was closed we're quite lucky to have a site like HLP as a central meeting place for all FS'ers (not to understate VWBB's efforts - not at all). This really is a luxury (oh, good work all admins involved, now and then )

Why do we still like the thing after all these long years? ..one really needs to search his/her heart to find an answer to that one.

I just bought HL and I'm regretting it already. The game is good no doubt about it. But the community is childish, n00bish, immature, stupid, inconsiderate and above all moronic. Did I mention it was childish and immature?

As far as AA goes if you joing smaller games IE 4-6 player games it is actually quite fun becuase the people that start these games are serious.
