ok, it worked, i've got 3 windows, a tiled background, and you can have the links from one window point to another, just like real frames. the background is tiled, but the interface image is not. i think i figured it all out now.

I've started on a php script that queries the mysql database for info. I know hardly anything about this though, and I really don't want to do this all by myself because I'm almost 100% sure I'll mess up or something, and that I don't really have time to commit to extensively learning PHP.

And there's no way I'm learning both C and PHP to take both jobs, so comon...

AND NEED MORE PLAYERS. I want to have a small match Saturday between two teams.

OK but I want the team's leaders to actually choose the ships they are going to use this time. I have an excel sheet on my computer with all the resource costs for every ship at the moment, and each team will have 3000 resources to spend as they like. So, try and get a team together and gimmie a contact for the spreadsheet.

We can use Bobboau's Specularity Build for this as well, I used it with RaaTorh(sp), and it worked fine. So, I'm wondering if everyone wants to go ahead and use it instead of standard FS2. Comments, Suggestions?

Yes, of course teams will have names. So, Gloriano, you got a whole team thats up for it on saturday? Then all we need is another team, which I'm guessing LLL is leading but we need 2-3 more people on it. I can play I suppose, so need 1-2 more people.

OK we got a new idea. Unbiased FREDers.

We'll need a few unbiased FREDers, for the test round one should be fine. The team's captain will tell the FREDer what ships he/she chose(or is available-for the real round) and the battle plan that the captain wants. The FREDer will place the ships in a way that appears best to him/her for the plan given to him/her for each team, fairly.

Sectors will have templates so no backgrounds need to be coded, nodes, or anything of the like. So, if a FREDer or 2 could volunteer...
