Sorry, I should have mentioned that that rule of thumb is primarily for video -> written word and vice versa.

Besides, rules of thumb are not writ in granite - they're general patterns that tend to be true more often than not. :)

Me too, and I still hope they make a second feature film. But the series just expands it sooo well... I guess I can't really compare 150 hours of series with 2 hours of movie, but... Jack and Teal'c make me laugh. ;)
