The info on the top site doesn't begin to describe things.  As usual for anime, the story kicks into high gear about halfway through.

Actually, um. No. It is worth saying, so I'll say it again:

Some anime is worth the waste of time. Its not often that one comes along, but there are actually one or two gems (Detonator Orgunn comes to mind).

So, what makes this specific one worth the waste of time?

If I'd watched it I could either tell you that answer or agree with you and say that it was a waste of time. Trouble is, I haven't experienced it yet and neither have you. Why brand something a waste of time untill you've given it a chance by looking at it yourself?

Or indeed if you simply don't enjoy anime then don't post in this thread at all.

But for goodness sake, don't simply say it's a waste of time and that you'll not give it a shot, it just makes you look incredibly small minded - and I've no time for people like that. It rather fits into KTs "rebel without a clue" quote in his signiture. Aimless and pointless.

Why exactly is unlicensed anime legal? IIRC copyright laws are international. What keeps you from breaking copyright law for copyrights in Japan in the rest of the world?

true. it isn't really legal, but noone really does anything about it, until it gets licensed. fansubs usually gets unlicensed anime licensed pretty quickly, at least in the US.
