Bah. He dies in the shire, he dies in Isengard. Doesn't really matter to me. As PJ said he played little part in ROTK until after the war of the ring was over anyway.
This is going to be like all the fanboys coming out to protest that it's Arwen rather than Gloirifindel who gets Frodo to Riverdale. There were all these complaints about it before the film and nothing except from the most rabid fanboy afterwards.
If cutting the scenes in Isengard improves the flow of the movie then they have to cut it.
All of us fans will be getting the extended DVD sooner or later anyway
