saruman effectily dissapears from LOTR at the end of Two Towers. (in the books)
he didnt cut anyone....

I can't get to Anti It Cool but I do know that the entire last section in the book has been cut.  For obvious reasons...to do it justice it would surely add another half hour to the movie.

I also felt that with that section of the book, the story was already over.  We were just waiting for the end to come.  So if anything in that entire book were to be cut (and I had to choose) that would be the section to remove.

blaaaaeh....I meant, the part in the film when he dies. Since the Scouring will not be in the movie, Saruman is supposed to die in the Gandalf-Merry-and-Pippin-meet-at-Isengard-and-take-the-Palantir-from-Saruman scene.

Bah. He dies in the shire, he dies in Isengard. Doesn't really matter to me. As PJ said he played little part in ROTK until after the war of the ring was over anyway.
This is going to be like all the fanboys coming out to protest that it's Arwen rather than Gloirifindel who gets Frodo to Riverdale. There were all these complaints about it before the film and nothing except from the most rabid fanboy afterwards.
 If cutting the scenes in Isengard improves the flow of the movie then they have to cut it.
 All of us fans will be getting the extended DVD sooner or later anyway

If they get angry at that I wonder what they will think of the computer strategy game.  After reading the reviews I thought it was rather odd.  You can have armies with smeagols and balrogs  (that big flaming monster, but I think there is only supposed to be one of them?).  I'm sure the multiplayer opens up a whole new range of fanboy angering possibilites
