i mean, instead of painting a "city" on the actual planet, make a glowmap of the city and place it over the planet so you can turn it on a off...

put them in your data/effects folder, you need to enable 32-bit textures (and you should have a 32-bit resolution) though.

On a side note, my holidays have started so i'll finally be able to complete this

I had to build this one from scratch, i'm still not entirely satisfied with it... But at least i found the time to work on it today (yay for holiday

Planet G has always been my favourite planet. Especially after your version.

Which tools were you using? I guess not merely Pencil and brush tools.
