Yes I have. I don't have the Box Set yet, but people who have bought it say that it's good.

same here, I'm pretty sure I just saw part 2 when I was little... I just recently bought the swedish dubbed version on dvd, cuz I got tired of waiting for the box set. but it's a definite will-buy in the near future.

Box sets are expensive....
I wanted to buy VoE on DVD.... Too expensive for my pocket.
Had to "aquire" a mpeg an CD's.... Oh well...at least I have it

true that box sets are expensive but usually when you think how much it would cost to buy the dvd's one by one the box set is then cheaper

Voltron rings some bell, but the only one I can remember is Grendizer ( Goldorak in France ).

Voltron - a gigantic robot that is made up out of five lion-like robots. Uses a big flaming sword.

Daitan 3 - a GIGANTIC robot taht resembles a samurai. Uses the power of sun, and has loads of other weapons.

Saber Raider - a robot with TONS of guns controlled by 3 guys (horsman(robot-horse), driver(racing car with guns) and cowboy( a fighter)).

I've just done a search for Robotech episodes....Damn..only listings...and one short sentence that describes the episode....

Nah...after seeing all the info on the other Robotech shows, I must conclude that the Macross saga is the best (it is the most original and has the best looking Mecha)

Alltough the SDF-1 should be far larger than 1,2 km.... there's no way a city can fit into THAT. Even a small one.

Mmh? the  mechas are the same in Macross and robotech ( well, the first part of robotech ), since it IS the deal: they made robotech out of the macross video masters.
As for the size, yeah, they f*cked it up, since the Macross even ends in a city
