Hmm... Welcome to the pit of hell and doom and other evil things. Beware of: Stryke 9, an0n, and Virtu. All 3 are very deadly and can easily corrupt your mind. I'd also suggest staying away from #nodewar on irc.sorcery.net, the kind of things that go on there are very... umm... healthy to the mind?

Recommended campaigns: Homesick, Derelict, and Warzone. Those were my favorites so far.

There's lots of dead ones about the place, though I honestly don't get how HLP is so hard to find - F2S is on Page 1 of a Google Search for Freespace 2, and we often refer people here. HLP itself is on page one of a search for Freespace 2 Mods, and a search for Freespace 2 campaign or Freespace 2 Campaigns brings up Reci and the Port repectively within the first few hits.

Still, it's good to know at least some newbies stll make it here Welcome bbobb
