The mission file REQUIRES the "Bird of Prey" and the "Weapons Addon". I had uploaded crash fixes for all the playable craft in

Like I stated in the top of this thread, this is ship made by Zorg / Morpheus. The textures are all 256x256. I don't have time to recreate textures but since this is one of my favorite ships, its in my list of retexuring, including the Defiant.

I didn't beef up the contrast in the specular textures. But it looks better when you're playing it in game vs judging a screen cap. Screen shots don't capture the specularr changes in shading.

After checking the model in ModView, I find that the fire-points are off.  From what I know, the Periguine carries 2 torp. bays, (which are located correctly from what I can see),  a pair of light pulse cannons, as well as a single chin-mounted turret, and possibly another on the aft dorsal, between the engine nacelles.  Both turrets are not present on this model, and the fire-points for the pulse cannons are too far out on the wings.  There also appears to be 4 wing fire-points on this model, in 2 banks, which AFAIK, shouldn't be.  There should only be one primary bank of 2 points, matching up with the cannon barrels, just inboard of the wing roots, as mentioned above.  Other than that, its a good model.

That's not a Peregrine.

That's a 'Federation Fighter'.

The Peregrine is the 'Maquis Fighter'.

OK, I have different sources saying different names for this fighter. I always thought it was generically called a raider and in Voyager, Chakote's Maquis Raider, pictured above by Anon was the Peregrine.

www.BCFiles.com says otherwise as well as www.ditl.org which is the sight I get all my technical references and size measurements. A number of other sites I found searching through yahoo says the same thing. Can anyone clear this confusion up please? I'm ready to rename it as Anon calls it.

Peregrine.  i make no excuses.... I made that one before I had either 3ds max or photoshop (or an y mapping ability).  Especially as that pic is the low res textures as far I can tell.


(for point of reference, I hate the appearance of pretty much everything i made before CoW, and some of the stuff after that)

OK, my research lead me to a web consensus that it is called the Peregrine. Many sites refer to Chakote's Maquis ship as Peregrine, but on the contrary, he himself says its an "Antares" class ship. That name doesn't even ring any bells for me. I went to the model kit site by AMT/Ertl, and they just call the pictured ship  Anon posted as' Maquis Ship", but the majority of the sites I visited named it the Peregrine. Theres another big victory for Trek continuity.  BLARG!!!

And Singh, if you're gonna post actions shots, please keep it relevent to the thread. That doesn't look like the "Peregrine" fighter that this thread is all about. =)

I thought the maquis ships were modified versons of federation ships, so the nameing might hav still been used by the maquis  version
