Hey that's pretty cool.  I never played Ocarina in Time.  I think the last Zelda Game I played was the one on the Super Nintendo.

it's interesting that I saw that page a couple of months ago, and that the project hasn't progressed since then, as far as I can see.

You'd think waiting on FS2 campaigns would have taught at least a little patience

And the point of that project is? Does he think Zelda doesn't translate well to 3D??

Ah well. I'll only be truly happy when they actually pay attention to the title and having Princess Zelda doing most of the work......although we are compensated by the fact that she kicks serious ass in SSBM!! :D

Ocarina of Time was on the GameCube?  Is that the cartoon looking Zelda?  Or is it the Zelda that Link turns into a little kid?

I don't have a Game Cube or an N64 so I'm out of gas to play those games, although I'd love to play them.

Link has always been a 'little kid', at least in Myamoto's mind. In Ocarina he let Link grow up, not the other way around. Western audiences were always clamouring for a more grown-up hero, but to Myamoto it was important that a child should be the one to become the Hero and save the world. Admitedly, this is the same man who made a game about the faries at the bottom of his garden, but he's a genius even if he is a bit odd...

... *thinks*  What's your definition of "a little kid"?  To me, that's under the age of 13.

But a link to the past had Link as a teenager, no?  At least he looked like a teenager.  In the original Zelda I don't think they ever mention his age and I always thought the shortness was because of graphic limitations (everything looked that small except for dragons IMO).

Learned somethng new today.  I honestly thought Link was 15/16 or so in the games.  Even in that Nintendo cartoon (I think it was Captain N or something) they had Link as a teenager.
