I always found this obsession very strange in the Japanese people (yes, that is a generalization, but a mostly justified one). I mean, just buy porn mags like the rest of the world and be done with it. Being in infatuated with characters who are mostly kids or early teens in pretty disturbing. Wanting to sleep with one in the form of a pillow is even more disturbing.

Dude, Bob, try living there for a few years. They AREN'T open sexually. Its one of the most repressed societies on earth. That's why there are pr0n vending machines--so they don't have to actually see another human being when they're buying pr0n. That's why they have things like hugging pillows.
