I thinks its sweet... its fast cause it uses IE6 as its core and the toolbars are very customizable.  So if you are "stuck" with M$ IE6, give this a try.

oh yeah  first post

Welcome, Mr. Garibaldi. :D You know, I'm just like that (stuck on IE 6... hey Wind!)... may give this a go. :)

If you're switching from Opera, make sure you install the All-In-One mouse gestures extension:
I don't use the mouse gestures in Opera. :nervous:

And welcome Mr.Garibaldi

*trying out FireFox*

*likes*

*tries a few extensions*

*really likes*

*tries one too many*

Darn impossible-to-uninstall-from-outside-the-browser extensions! Now I have to reinstall everything, add all the nice extensions, and avoid the one that made FireFox half on load! :hopping:

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Heheh installed and it won't show mw a scroll bar in the window. Might have been a glitch.

Going for my 6 month format now anyhow, gotta get a few drivers and the like. See you on the other side. ;)

I use an 8-button mouse. Back and forth, yeah, I use mouse buttons for that. But when I'm using the graphics tablet, gestures are indispensable.

Nice... finally a place I can not be so paranoid in :nervous:  lol

The FireFox allure is slowly pulling me in... I am split between Slim Browser and FireFox... I just don't know!
There is nothing more annoying than Mr. Garibaldi when he's right.

I say go FireFox. Its standards compliant. SlipmBrowser really isn't either slim, nor standards compliant, since it depends on the IE activeX object for rendering.

Funnily enough, an extension that I got to work without any hitches the second time around (after backing up my FF directory at a working state). ;)

That's the best extension out there, Sandwich.  :)

I consider that, Enigmail and and the one that lets you click on non-linked text and treat it as linked, as absolutely essential.

Nice. :) Oh, btw, if anyone's curious, FF 0.8 works flawlessly on my XP box.
