Mozilla FireFox Release
Mozilla FireFox 0.8 just recently came out. Features of the browser can be found by reading the press release :D The Mozilla Foundation has done some great work over the years and this browser I think is going to make some good competition over at Microsoft

Personally, I'll stick with the integrated Mozilla.

I'm sticking with integrated Mozilla as well, at least until FireFox reaches 1.0 status.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

It works okay(Firefox), it just messes up the colors on page designed specifically for IE.

I use Firebird 0.7, Firefox isn't in the stable gentoo tree yet.

I'm using the full version of Mozilla (1.6) right now. Didn't really like Firebird that much....

I actually don't know the differences between the two but what I do know is that FireFox will eventually replace the Mozilla Web Suite. Heres another 13 reasons why FireFox is a great browser.

Liberator what urls were those? My friends website is specifically designed for IE and the colors work out fine

I'm using Firefox, and before that used Firebird. It's alright, although I seem to have lost all semblance of scroll bars from the browser window. Which I can tolerate, as I never use them apart from for estimating how long it'll take for me to read something. They'll come back some day.

I use Slim Browser.  It is like a "mod" for Internet Explorer.  It has all kinds of browser goodness like tabs, auto-form-filling, popup blocking, auto-login... I thinks its sweet... its fast cause it uses IE6 as its core and the toolbars are very customizable.  So if you are "stuck" with M$ IE6, give this a try.

oh yeah  first post

Reminds me of good ol' NetCaptor, which I used and recommended religiously until I switched to Mozilla.

It's a nice browser, infact I may switch from Opera to it!

Well yeah I use IE and opera mainly. Just depends on if what I'm wanting to do right then.
I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.
