The Ancient zombie army, afterall, they had to stay true to the fact that the ancients were extinct.

Also, discovering that in fact there was only one Sathanas, but its deadly Bosch beer vapor(tm) gives the illusion that there was a massive fleet.

The attack by undead Ancients was classic. And the easter egg mission with the raid on the Bosch Brewery was well worth sitting through six hours of credits for

The battle between the Colossus Mk II and the Sathanus was rather unorthodox

Then those rabbits ate him. That was just classic, a lovely touch. I was starting to get bored until that moment.

I have to admit though, finding out that command was a monkey in a human suit was not especially surprising.

And what about that old cliche where they attacked earth using a meteorite the size of guatemala composed of 99.7% fat free cheeze? That's been used sooo many times.

Yeah, but you've got to admit that the gigantic cheesegrater they towed in for defence was original, if nothing else.

Granted.
Yeah, it was cool how they actually grated washington DC off the face of the planet after the inital attack. DX9's effects capabilities really shone there.

My favorite was when Earth transformed into a giant battle robot that didn't actually have any weapons, so you had to defend a small part of the planet.
So as through a glass, and darkly

The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch? Sure, I remembered it. It's just the rabid killer rabbit spinoff from that was so much more... invigorating.

I dunno, the revelation towards the end that the Shivans were just the next stage in evolution for Republicans kinda threw me off.
