One of the questions Tin Can asked when he was asking for help was why is it worth getting FS2_Open. Now it's easy to say that it looks better but I realised we need some before and after shots to show the differences. I think that some one asked for this before but nothing much happened.

Anyway I've taken some pics and I'll be turning them into a part of my FAQ (or the wiki) sooner or later.

Anyway here are the pics I took from the first FS2 Mission. If anyone has some to add feel free to do so but make sure you include a picture of the same ship in FS2 retail so we can see the difference.

Yeah, it doesn't show for Firefox over here either.  Sorry about that, I don't have a fileserver at the moment.

Nice work guys :) Still it would be even nicer if you could get some pics of the same things in standard FS2 whenever possible. It really shows the difference. :)

Here's an FS2 original mission revisited. Wish i could get a 'before' shot, but my copy of FS2.exe doesn't work (keeps asking for CDs) and I cant find a crack for it either....

Anyway, here's the pic. Nothing much, but quite pretty. One question tho - why does launcher4 not recognize the -spec and -glow settings on the 01/04 build? I get neither with that...
