I also played with the seam to get rid of the bubble-effect, but couldn't bring myself to get rid of it entirely. How does this look?

It's too white.

The images are fine (if not as horrifically violent as I'd like) but the whiteness is just.....too plain.

And I still don't like the bubbles.

Check out Sheepy's editted version of your old banner that I've temporarily stuck as the new header.

And were those images B&W to start with or did you strip the coloring? C'z they might look better if you left the colour and just skewed them into the blue some.

They were colour to start with. Trust me, they would neither fit very well together nor hue blue very well if they had stayed colour.
