ok, im attempting to tabulate all the ships produced by the community, for you to be able to count a ship, it must be textured and functioning in the game. this includes everything that would be referenced by the ships table, including sentries, and installations. updated versions of ships do not count (such as my 2 versions of the chaos, i only count the latest). variations of ships are acceptable so long as there are noticable geometry changes to the main hull.

state the number of ships you have and then add it to the number in the post before. as you create additional ships add those as well.

First, what's the point of such a tabulation (especially if some listed cannot be accessed due to old/removed downloads)?

   Second is this for CORE FS2 mods or are you including other genres like B5, Wars, and Trek?

i just wanted to know how many ships the community as a hole has produced. my 16 are fully original models, though i have based of textures off of the ones used for freespace, although ive been trying to break out of that habbit. my last couple of models have 100% original textures.

pfff, dunno, a lot, between the OTT ships, the Descent conversions, the Inferno ships, the Robotech ones, the two macross Plus YF, the stand-alone things. Can't bother counting. As Bob say, anyway, that's quality that counts, not quantity.
