Always hated FS2's multi coulour odd-shaped nebula effects?
Time to throw old concepts over board, time to prepare for the new... for the nice... for the SCP
Release:
You will find an up-to-date, larger previews section on Milliways:
Click -=Notes for FREDders =-
Every nebula set will have the following file naming conventions:
nebul +[set name] + [tile number] + [type]
Set names are the 'Set number' - They will go A, B, C, D, ...
Tile Numbers represent the number of the tile inside the set - They will go 1, 2, 3
Type specifies the type of the image. It can either be a
"main" image (large nebula, 1024x1024, use at ~ 4 - 5 size, only one or two per mission reccommended) or a
"whisp" image (small whispy nebula bit, 512x512, use at 1-3 size reccommended).
Overlapping is reccommended to get away from localized nebula effects. You can also see how it works with the included
test mission (hint: check the reinforcment list

)

Now, see for yourself. Ah, nearly forgot:
1.) I would like to get feedback on how the system works for setting up large ambient backgrounds which is what i'm aiming for. Are the wisps combinable with the rest, is the number of whisps large enough, are 2 main images enough, are there any problems?
2.) I would like to see screenshots of your creations to give me a clue what's possible and how it looks like.Thanks in advance.
