You should have image edited that and taken out the wires, would have made the image so much more exciting.

Mouse traps are lethal, last time my parents used them, blood went all over the floor because it hit a mouse in the eye or something like that. Instakill!

The wires are meant to be a parody of Mission: Impossible, aren't they? :p

Yeah, we used to have mouse traps too. But our mice were too clever, they nicked off with the food and left the traps untouched. :nervous:

Our rat did that, the little bugger. We were beginning to suspect it was smarter than us tjill it turned up drowned in the bog on morning.

And to get back on topic, yes - Burt Rutan is a certified genius. I wonder if I can put money on him winning the prize...

what you don't realise, is that the rat faked its death with stickyback plastic, 2 buttons and a loafer.

[color=66ff00]Do you know what I find utterly brilliant; the fact that Arthur C. Clarke came up with an immensly similar concept for a reusable space vechile decades ago. Unfortunately NASA isn't as smart as everyone thinks they are and they went with the more costly space shuttle + launch system that is used today.

They ought to sell the shuttles to raise a bit of cash when they're done with them. There'll be some bajilionaire out there who'll gladly pay to have a gen-you-wine space shuttle in his front garden

nasa spends way to much money and they worry too much about safety. if somone asked me to go for a ride in their space ship, then told me there was a 1 in 5 chance id get killed if i did, i would still say yes.

You want to talk about XPrize you're guy is getting trouted - the only X Prize contender with a suborbital launch license is XCor Aerospace with their Xerus suborbital vehicle

http://www.xcor.com/

http://www.xcor.com/gallery/xerus

the Xerus looks much more likely than Rutan's SpaceShipOne to be feasable
