I've tried this a few times but have never seen any games. Either I'm missing everyone or somethings wrong. Apologies if this has been discussed before but i cant be bothered to read 13 pages of this thread I'm running AOL btw which is probably the cause of the problem

Are you certain you're looking when someone is actually playing? Most of the time there is nothing much to see cause no one is playing.

we need to setup a play scedule. so far this thread is the only means for setting up games. we should eighter (a) setup an icq list, so everybody can add everybody else to their list, to better arange for games, (b) implement an availible for game feature into the forum, or (c) develop a timetable that schedules play sessions. but im insane and my opinion doesnt matter

would it be possible to see the server list outside of FSO?

if you make some webpage to display the list, one can both see if his or er own server is working, and if there is anybody online to play with.

kasp: yes i can write an app to list it

and i may be able to write a list dump into the server so it dumps the current list into a file or into mysql

how ever long you set the server to post it

if i have to server post to a mysql table every time the list changes it would be real time, but a little heavier on the database (but not ignificantly -- probably would want to potmize the table every so often)
