A bit too "black and white" maybe, you should make the specular map more grey so it's not all white on the lightened sides.

reduce some of the shinyness on the spec maps, and make the glowmaps a lot brighter.....

Also, try giving the specmaps a certain color, like a light blue on the metalic surfaces....

edit: perhaps some kind admin could split this into a "foreign langauge course" in HLP Gen.

I think its a really shiny station. But if you had a red sun, then it would have that really awesome "death red" style station. Kick-ass!

But yeah, its a little too shiny.

oh yes, add glowpoints on some of the tips of the extensions.

Also, see if you can make animated glowmaps to work, and let some landing lights move...

After looking it up more thoroughly, I found that faldero is an adjective that means "of the skirt" or "pertaining to the skirt".

It still doesn't make sense.
