There are some problems with this. Firstly the tabloids will cover the fact heavily - the next few years - and maybe even the rest of her life - will be tainted by what she did, and there's a strong chance that she'll be labelled a whore when she reaches her Uni or future job because of it - and because some people don't have to face the money problems that others do.

Also, any future love she finds might be a hard time because there's a strong chance whoever she finds will learn or know of what she did - it's not always easy to approve. But hopefully this wont be the case - anyone who really loves her should be able to overlook it.

She deserves all she gets, and I hope no-one offers any sympathy. The whore doesn't deserve it.

After reading the article, she sounds as though she didn't enjoy it(the act itself).  Makes you wonder if that cold a *****, or if she took some kind of nerve deadener so she wouldn't realize that it's better for a woman with a man instead of Rosie DePalma and her five friends and vice versa.

You do realise, that in the US, people can pay up to like 10,000+ quid per year to go uni.

I just visited RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). The price for tuition, room and board, and all the fees was around $31,000 for 9 months.  Thankfully, I should get some merit scholarships to offset that, and the co-op program should help.  I'm really praying for the National Merit Scholarship right now though....

Should it be that tough? I realise that few things in life are free - but at the age of a first year student (18+) you don't have that much money. Apparently these are the best years of our lives, we spend the rest of them working. Well... I'd quite like to have a little money to spend on the best years of my life - rather than worry about my own survival.

and theres these little things called schollerships u can get if you work ur ass off in high school. Its somthing of students in america dont really give a **** about till they figure out the cost of an education(to late in most cases).

Perhaps so, but consider that we're all human beings - few children who don't have parents who really drive them can effortlessly gain a schollership - especially if it's hard to get one for the particular college / uni you're trying for.

Those of us who aren't so academically/sport minded or driven to suceed shouldn't be made to pay for that for the first 30 odd years of our life with debts and such, should we?

Uhh Liberator, this has nothing to do with sexual orientation. If she were straight, the situation would be exactly the same. The fact that she is a lesbian is irrelevant. Do you realize how horrible and stressful sex with a total stranger is? That, and the fact that the types of people likely to pay for sex are usually no prize catch.

I wouldn't blame her if she took some sort of drug. Thats the same reason most hookers are junkies.You simply couldn't stand it any other way. Most people would kill themselves after a few days of prostutution if not for drugs.

If I didn't have such strong thoughts regarding the armed forces I'd consider it a viable option to take care of my Uni issues. However I wouldn't join them for any other reason than forced conscription.

Personally, it would be physically impossible for me to work this year - , the course head advises students to avoid working because of the time demands reuiqred by uni.

Actually, in Canada, the Army is a viable option. I'm in no danger of being sent overseas to fight, and I would venture a guess that the actual time spent in the Army is more comfortable than in most countries.

However, keeping in mind that these are the same people who did bombing runs over my hometown, I would rather work for the money.

I agree, all major universities receive, quite literally, millions of dollars in alumni donations and millions more from government programs and raising tuition?
