LOL an0n, you're too good  :D

Melatonin helps regulate body's sleep, among other functions.  Vitamin B-6 is one of the vitamins needed for your body to produce Melatonin.  In fact, it's known that Vitamin B supplements as a whole help sleep.  a few minutes before you go to bed, go heat up a glass of milk and drink it.  Milk helps you sleep, because it's rich in many vitamins that your body needs.  Also, (this worked for me), try taking a Calcium tablet about 20 minutes before you go to bed, go get some Calcium at the local pharmacy.  A Calcium tablet (read the label on it to see how much you should take) and a warm glass of milk will without a doubt help you to sleep, i'm sure.

Also try reading for a while before you go to bed, this helps the brain relax from whatever you've been doing the rest of the day.  Fresh air, and exercise always work too.

Hope it helps

I think these are definitely things worth seeing your doctor about. But I mean, this is a serious illness if it's put you out of action for almost two months - you should talk to him about these additional symptoms and see what he suggests.

yeah, i didn't know about that.  i just read he's having trouble sleeping, because, of course, you realize that if you're sick it's often natural that you have trouble sleeping  and is nothing to worry about

i have been seeing my doctor, trust me. i had lung tests, hart tests, some genetic stuff, and i don't know how many checkups. and now i got some lung drug while the expert guy said my lungs were OK. and the damn stuff reduces my stamina, and gives me cramps in my foot.

You know something's screwy when the medicine causes more problems than it solves. :blah: That warm milk should really help though, I can stand by that. I pray you'll get some good rest after this, mate. :)

Of course, another great thing to do in the wee hours of the morning is to spend a while on your favourite online forum and talk about spending the wee hours of the morning on your favourite online forum while being unable to sleep... ;)

You stay awake as long as you can... eventually you will be too tired to be awake. From that moment onward you will never have insomnia. :D

...and there you will find your power animal.

Seriously though, if its a constant thing, just do hard phyical labour all day. I don't mean like a 10 minute sprint and then your legs ache but thats it. I mean do somethiing physical which you can sustain for many hours. Back in the old days, you used to come home from working the farm all day and fall right to sleep cause you were so tired, but you can't do that any more. Lift weights, dig a hole or do whatever. If you can find a place to do it, swimming for long periods of time or skiing all day will get you nice and tired.

and if we see any suspiciously un-kasperl like posts on here, we'll all know what happened.

i could off course pick up the saw and attack the wood pile out back.....

but i doubt my back would like that...

Who is kasperl? ;)

Everytime I think 'kasperl', I think "makes HLP hat look good". :)

Youth is a beautiful time. It's where you form who you'll be for the rest of your life. :) Back when I was your age, three years ago or so (you're 16, right?), I was busy starting this little website called Hard Light Productions... boy, that sure changed my life.
