Pull in another vote for the Eagles. Dire Straits ("Sultans of Swing") rates pretty highly, also. :)

Apparently, most people consider Imagine to be the greatest song of all time. Weird.

But yeah, too many awesome songs to pick just one, especially since I've been gaining a new appreciation for early jazz (ie 30s, 40s) and pub rock, which is always good.

But then I prefer instrumental as opposed to actual songs, so I have no favourite out there ;)
