In regards to the bridge, I've been looking for a way to disable a ship in freespace once a particular subsystem is destroyed. I can't find a way to keep a ship from firing once a designated subsystem is destroyed. I believe the Galaxy class that is up now has a bridge as a subsystem but I didn't desginated as targetable in the TBL since its useless.
Any ideas here folks? Especially for scripting a Galaxy Class capable of Suacer seperation. Need input before Scotchy finishes it so I can spruce up for it.
I'd like to create a damage model for the bridge that shows the insides as exposed to space. Perhaps have a low poly, bald headed human fly out of it... hee hee. Or better, an old lady hag twitching.
I think it would be cool to create a custom particle effect of bodies flying out of a ship hole. I just can't figure out how to limit its time on screen. Otherwise it would look like a ship is bleeding people.
